Baesianz is an interdisciplinary collective cultivating Asian-led narratives, founded by Sarah Khan, Sami Kimberley and Roxanne Farahmand in 2019.
Led by an ethos of interdependence and mutual aid and born from a shared need to nurture their Asian roots and uplift Asian communities, Baesianz organises multidisciplinary events including exhibitions, film screenings, solidarity fundraisers, workshops, radio shows, artist residencies, and audio-visual performances. Now a team of seven, narratives of Asian-heritage folk living both within and outside of Asia are centred to create an evolving archive that can be experienced by all. The collective includes Baesianz Adventure Club, an outdoor space for women, trans and non-binary people of Asian heritage.
